An officer-involved shooting occurred on Easter Sunday in National Harbor, Maryland, following a domestic-related stabbing incident. According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, officers responded to a stabbing call around 8:20 a.m., where a man and a woman were found with critical stab wounds. Less than two hours later, officers located the suspect at St. George Boulevard and Potomac Passage in National Harbor. The suspect, still armed with a knife, moved toward an officer, prompting two officers to discharge their duty weapons. The suspect was struck an unknown number of times and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. No officers were injured in the incident.
